To run this code, xamarin must be installed in your PC.

Note :- Xamarin wont work on Windows Xp, it runs on Windows 7 and advance.

Earn your pocket money through Android phone # 2

hike

Today I am sharing second alternative for earning through android phones.

hike is an awesome app which is has combine functionality of whatsapp, facebook and free messages (100 messages per month + 50 on successful invite). Its money making feature makes it more special in youngsters. Please keep one thing in mind that it is 100 % genuine as i just had a recharge of 250 rs. So it simply depends on you, or just have a try may be it can pay you.It gives a recharge of Rs.10 once you join and for each invite u will get 20 rs.There is a condition that for redeeming amount your balance should be more than 50 at least for once.

It's better than song quest as in song quest we can redeem only if balance is greater than 50 but in hike once ur balance is greater than 50 u can redeem any amount.

How

1. Visit this link through your android phone hike.
2. Install it through Play Store (Time depends on your Internet connection)
3. After Downloading open the app and accept Terms and Conditions.
4. Enter ur no. and click on next and thn confirm ur no.
5. Enter ur name, birth date and gender, u r ready to use the app.
6. As son as u join ur balance becomes 10 n for redeeming that u need to have at least 2 successful invites (20rs. per invite + 10 bonus amount = 50)
Note :- for invites see below.
7. U also have to fill ur meter to 100 % which u can do by making groups n chatting on it as well as updating ur status and profile picture.
8. Once ur successful invites (i.e ur balance should be at least 50 rs.) and meter condition fulfils u can redeem amount by filling ur mobile operator's details. Click on "Redeem" n wait for 2 min as it checks ur details (so make sure you enter the correct mobile number in which u r accessing net).
7. It will give u recharge of Rs. 50 through Paytm.

How to invite ur friends ?

You can earn more through inviting your friends in Hike (For that application should be installed on your phone)

1. Open the application n u can invite ur friends

a.through free messages given by the hike. FOr that click on "Invite through Free Sms" thn select the contact/s and click on "Invite" on the Right top of page.

b.Click on "Invite" button and invite your friends through other application like whatsapp, facebook, gmail, etc.

2. Make sure your friend/s install the app from the same link.

How to prepare for ISTQB - Foundation Level Exam

Are you preparing for Istqb Foundation Level Exam and quiet stressed out.Some of your faculties or friends must have told you that its quiet tough n people's cant clear that in first attempt . Let me tell you that I have scored 82.5 % and didnt find it hard at all. There is no need of any coaching just follow 2 keys which I will mention in this post.

I am sharing the whole process which I followed for preparing it.

Precautions : Must be known to Software Testing.

Syllabus and Exam Structure

In brief the Required percentage for clearing Exam is 65 and there is a time limit. Istqb Foundation Level Paper always has defined number of Question from each chapters.There are levels to each question which varies from easy to hard.when I gave that paper there were levels as K1 - 1 marks,K2 - 2 marks, K3 - 4 marks and K4 - 6 marks each. All questions were objective.

How to Prepare

You can easily find the booklet of Istqb Foundation Level, buy or borrow it from your friends. Read it once, remember there are some terms which has different names that we studied during Manual Testing. When You are done with the book start solving Istqb dumbs which you easily find from Internet. As per my view Istqb repeats Questions and one more thing some answers were wrong in dumbs, so believe on your knowledge. Istqb dumbs is the first *key to crack.

*Key 2 :- Remember while giving Istqb exam

When I appeared for Istqb exam, our batch was divided in groups.The mentor present in my room told us about the key 2 but the different member doesnt, so make sure u know this key.There is a hint for each question which will be given at the right bottom of each question with a "?" symbol. You have to click on that, than only it will show you hint. If u don't find "Hint" pls ask ur mentor before appearing. The content given in hint gives u a clear idea about the answer, so use your mind sharply.

Minor Projects # 1

Online Book Portal

Today I am posting a minor project based on Android. Students can download that project from the given links, its totally free of cost. I have made it while learning Android.

Environment : Eclipse Indigo
Minimum SDK version : 10

Description

The aim of my project is to provide a user friendly application where people can easily buy the books using their mobile Phones. Proposed system is fully automated which strive to provide better services to the customer. They can visit the application and login to their accounts.

Widgets Used :

The widgets which I used in my projects are:-

1) EditTexts.
2) TextViews.
3) Buttons.
4) ProgressBar.
5) GridView.
6) ScrollView.
7) Gallery.
8) RatingBar.

Details of Activities :

First of all user have to login with their User-id and Password in first activity and if he doesn’t have an Id then he need to sign up in the Second activity.

After registering, user can choose any book category in the Third Activity. After selecting book category user will be redirected to the Fourth Activity in which he can select any book.

After selecting a book user will be able to see his cart list in the Fifth Activity. He can also add more items by going back.

In Sixth Activity user can see the details of his purchasing. User can pay for his purchase in the Seventh Activity. After that user can logout from the application or if user wants then he can also go for purchasing more books.

User can also see the details of this application in About us Activity. If in case user forgot his password then user can recover it in Recover Password Activity. After providing some details user password will be sent to user’s phone number.

Calling web services using ajax, jquery in phoneGap in android

Hey folks...

Today I am going to post one useful code for those who face some problem in calling web services in android using phonegap.

This is a very simple example for calling a web service through ajax..

So here we go.

If there is an error in calling aja erquest then it will go to error function else in success function.
so friends if you want to send parameters with the url the url pattern and data will look like this

points to remember:-

1- parameter Name should be same as in your web service parameter, in my case email & password.
2- Type should be same as in your web service.
